Our Team

Dr. Fender was born and raised in a small town in Manitoba, Canada. After high school, Dr. Fender earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Zoology/Microbiology from the University of Manitoba. He then attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where he graduated in 2005.

Committed to furthering his expertise, Dr. Fender completed a one-year rotating internship at the largest veterinary referral center in Toronto. He then moved to Las Vegas, where he honed his surgical skills with a one-year surgical internship focused on small animal surgery.

Since 2012, Dr. Fender and his wife, Cari, have called Tucson home. Together, they have three children and enjoy spending their summers in Canada, where they continue to strengthen their family bonds. Dr. Fender's lifelong dedication to learning and passion for veterinary care guide him in providing the highest quality care for pets in Tucson and beyond.

Cari is married to Dr Fender

Marcy has known Cari and Dr Fender for many years. She has years of valuable experience working in the veterinary industry and cannot wait to greet you at Four Paws. 

Kassidy has know the Fenders for many years. She is excited to join them at Four Paws Veterinary Clinic! 

As with Kassidy, Edwin has know the Fenders for many years. He brings many years of experience to the clinic and is excited to meet you all!
